On May 17, of 2019, Grumpy Cats owners told us about the sad demise of their cat, the cat we all know and love as grumpy cat. Tardar Sauce was grumpy cats real name and was a proud and cherished member of the family. She first started getting noticed in 2012 when pictures of her frowning face went viral on social media. Grumpy Cat got so famous she appeared on TV, got her own movie, won meme of the year, made it to broadway, comics, was made into a wax figure, had her own branded products, and had millions of followers on social media.

When her death arrived to social media it was filled with tributes to the cat, it was said she died peacefully, in her mother's arms. Grumpy Cats legacy carries on, brightening up peoples days with her memes, and funny, pictures.

This article is important because Grumpy Cat has been seen all over the world making people smile and making them happy. Seeing something happen as big as the cat dying will change the world.
